Mechatronics design
  • Key skills:
    • Industrial product design:
        • Surfaces
        • Manufacturing
        • Mechanical design
        • Plastic parts design
        • Technologies (Connectors, metal sheet, aluminium injections, keypads, etc.)
    • Integration and debug, from mock-ups to final product
Mechatronic design development
  1. Model created by the "designer" from the specifications of Marketing. Performed on ALIAS (virtual rough) ==> exchanges (3D) or 2D (rough)
  2. Creating a digital file representative form factor of the final product. Machining (on any client site or subcontractor) of the model reference design.
  3. Feasibility of the internal structure of the product, taking into account the constraints of the requirements. Risk analysis product (AMDEC product). Feasibility Review.
  4. Mock-up realization which will be used to integrate the functional product (HW, acoustic, IHM, connectors, and so on…). Low cost tooling can be proposed to validate with the good raw material all the requirements and specifications => Time To Market improving.
  5. Phase of industrialization : Integration of industrial production constraints and processing of parts. The CAD files are also used to achieve the tooling: (plastic, various alloys, slick keyboard, antenna, metal, machining…).
  6. Assistance in mass production : Metrology, analysis parts, development tooling, qualification testing, assembly method Assistance
Throughout the course of the project, the CAD mechatronics is included in the digital development means and communicates with all trades (internal and / or at the customer).
