Design Services

Overview

TES is a global company with local presence on a world-wide basis, and a wide range of technical competencies through its numerous design centers and project offices.

TES proposes design services going through design or technical management expertise and consultancy, IP delivery and support, outsourced design centers (ODC), or turnkey projects. TES can push service offer further than others by taking care of new product introduction and manufacturing.

TES is flexible on customer engagement models, offering traditional consultancy business or turnkey projects, as well as CDM where TES is assigned the task to build the best integrated solutions within optimal time and cost framework.

Consultancy:

TES offers both local presence and a wide range of technical know-how. Both are made available to customers as on-site or remote high level technical expertise for audit at key design check points or during task forces in case of major project issue. In complement to technical support, TES can also provide project management competencies if required. TES offers also more traditional design services aimed at on-site customer project staffing.

TES trains and maintains a team of designers and experts in domains ranging from ASIC design, down to product industrialization for manufacturing also called new product introduction (NPI). TES expertise covers system, high speed board-design, complex and/or cost efficient FPGA programming, embedded software (firmware, board support packages, stacks, graphics, etc), AMS & RF or digital ASIC, System on a Chip (SoC).

Outsourced Design Centre:

For customers looking for a more flexible and performing solution, TES proposes a unique delivery model for managed outsourcing. Dedicated engineering resources are hosted in one or several TES design centers and managed from a local project office, providing customer with full project and resource control. TES takes full care of engineers’ day to day hosting facilities; TES can also propose different levels of technical support, coordination or project management as required for activities such as risk and quality plan tracking, technical/progress reviews, within customer or TES defined working processes.

Turn-key:

Offering ultimate cost and schedule control, TES proposes with its global CDM methodology turnkey project capabilities. These projects are fully managed from one single local project office where sits the project manager which handles project stirring and communication in close relationship with customer. Doing so, TES is relieving its customer from the burden of building, training and managing large design teams. Customers’ technicians can then focus only on their true differentiating technologies.

TES proposes to handle turnkey projects in numerous technical fields such as ASIC, board, FPGA, embedded software, RF applied to the non restrictive automotive, professional, military/aeronautics, and consumer markets. Please, look at our technology page for more details on TES fields of excellence.

IP licensing:

as a complement to its design services offering, TES proposes IPs and reference platforms in domains such as Graphics, RF (Ultra Wideband, DECT and Bluetooth), Telematics or Multimedia. These help customers to shrink design cycles, while reducing design effort and risks.

For more details, have a look at TES IP technologies page.

CDM

is the wider partnership TES can propose to customers, relieving customers even further by taking care, starting far ahead of products nasty manufacturing related matters down to manufacturing itself.
